Blanca Flores

I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed therapist with over five years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. As a Hispanic, first-generation professional, I understand the power of culture, identity, and resilience—and I bring that understanding into every session.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults, and from a wide range of cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. I have experience supporting individuals facing a broad spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, and family or relationship stress.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe to be yourself, understood in the context of your lived experience, and supported in creating meaningful change at your own pace. Whether we’re working toward healing from past trauma, navigating identity exploration, or building new skills for daily life—I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and intention.

In addition to therapy, I also provide immigration evaluations, offering culturally sensitive and clinically sound assessments to support clients in their legal journey.

I’m passionate about creating an inclusive and empowering space where your voice is heard and your story matters.

My Therapeutic Approach

I use a blend of evidence-based approaches tailored to meet your unique needs, goals, and strengths. No two clients are the same—so our work together will be personalized, collaborative, and rooted in techniques that support lasting growth and healing. Some of the primary approaches I draw from include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and create healthier ways of responding to stress, anxiety, and depression.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Supports emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and improving relationships—especially helpful for those who feel overwhelmed by intense emotions.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

A respectful, client-centered approach that helps you explore your own reasons for change and strengthen your motivation to move forward in your life.

Mindfulness-Based Techniques

Helps you stay grounded, reduce anxiety, and become more present in your daily experiences. These practices can enhance self-awareness and emotional balance.

I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you with empathy and respect. Whether you’re working through a specific challenge or seeking general emotional wellness, our sessions will focus on creating real, meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
